Review website: draft for business approval. The business has agreed a one-year retention period for enquiries that do not become jobs. Its deletion process and provider arrangements must be confirmed before this notice is used for the live website.
Draft updated: 27 October 2026
1. Who is responsible
U BATHROOM SOLUTIONS LTD, trading as U Bathroom Solutions, is responsible for the personal information used to handle your bathroom enquiry.
Registered in Scotland, company number SC880749.
Registered office: 6 Etive Crescent, Bishopbriggs, Glasgow, Scotland, G64 1ET.
Email: ubathroomsolutions@gmail.com
Telephone: 07908 627407
The address above is our registered office, not an advertised showroom.
2. Information we use
Our quote form asks for your name, telephone number and postcode. You can also choose a bathroom package and a preferred time for us to call. We use these details to respond, check our service area, discuss your plans and arrange a quotation or home survey.
If you contact us by email or WhatsApp, we also receive the contact details, messages and photographs you choose to send. Please avoid including identity documents, bank details or sensitive personal information in an initial enquiry.
Our hosting and email providers process technical information needed to operate and protect their services, such as IP addresses, request times and delivery information. Our own email-delivery logs contain status and message identifiers rather than the details you enter in the form.
3. Why we use it
For a quotation or home survey you request, we use your information to take steps towards a possible contract with you. We also have a legitimate interest in protecting the website, preventing spam and resolving problems with enquiries.
You do not have to request a quote. Without your name, telephone number and postcode, we cannot process the online callback request. You can use the other contact options instead.
Submitting this form does not sign you up for marketing. The form does not make automated credit, eligibility or other decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
5. How long we keep information
We keep enquiries that do not become jobs for one year from the date we receive them, then delete them from our enquiry records.
If your enquiry becomes a job, the resulting customer, installation, warranty and accounting records are handled separately. Their retention periods still need to be confirmed for the final notice.
Enquiry emails are not automatically deleted by this website. Our team must apply the agreed retention period to the mailbox and other enquiry records, and confirm how our email provider handles retained copies. Contact us if you want to ask about or request deletion of your enquiry.
6. Cookies and website tracking
We use Google Analytics to measure visits and enquiries, and to see which Google Ads bring enquiries. It counts when an enquiry form is sent and when someone taps our phone number or WhatsApp link. We never send your name, telephone number or postcode to Google.
Analytics and advertising cookies are only set if you choose Accept on the cookie bar. If you choose Reject or make no choice, no Google cookies are stored, but the website still sends Google a basic signal without cookies when a page loads or an enquiry is made. Google uses these signals to estimate overall results. You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of the website.
Fonts and bathroom photographs are hosted with the website. Hosting and security services may process technical information needed to deliver and protect the site. External websites such as WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram and the finance provider have their own cookies and privacy practices.
7. Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access your personal information, correct it, delete it, restrict its use or receive a portable copy. These rights are subject to the conditions and exceptions in data protection law.
Your right to object: you can object to processing based on legitimate interests because of your particular circumstances. Contact us using the email address above and explain your request.
If we rely on consent for any separate activity, you can withdraw it at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before it was withdrawn.
Contact ubathroomsolutions@gmail.com to exercise your rights or raise a concern. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK data protection regulator.
8. Changes to this notice
We will update this notice if the way we handle website enquiries changes. The date above identifies this version.
